TURKIYE ACTIVITES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL DAYS:
- World Environment Day On June 5, 2025 – World Environment Day – our students collected trash around the school. This hands-on activity not only fostered a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship among the students but also raised awareness about the impact of littering on local ecosystems. Additionally, the event served as a valuable opportunity for students to engage in discussions about sustainable waste management practices and the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
2.International Day For Biological Diversity
On May 22, in celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity, Mafen School organized an engaging educational event focused on the importance of biodiversity in our ecosystems. Students participated in interactive workshops that explored local flora and fauna, fostering a deeper understanding of species conservation and the critical role each organism plays in maintaining ecological balance. Additionally, the event included a nature walk, where students documented various species and discussed ways to protect biodiversity in their community.
3.World Water Day -22nd March 2026
On March 22, in observance of World Water Day, Mafen College hosted a series of activities aimed at raising awareness about the importance of freshwater conservation and sustainable water management practices. Students participated in informative workshops and engaging discussions, emphasizing the critical role clean water plays in health, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.
